The Birth Sling Terms & Conditions
• The Birth Sling remains the property of The Birth Teacher at all times.
• The Birth Teacher will supply the Hirer with a Birth Sling on the understanding that it will only be used by the person whose name appears on the booking form and is not transferable between individuals.
• The Hirer will have discussed the use of the Birth Sling with the care provider supporting their birth and will have received their care provider's approval.
• The Birth Sling will only be used according to the instructions provided.
• The Birth Teacher will not be held responsible or liable for any injury or damage sustained as a result of misusing the Birth Sling.
• The success of the Birth Sling is neither guaranteed nor implied.
• The Birth Sling will be supplied to the best of our ability in perfect working order and ready for use.
• The Hirer will read the Birth Sling Instructions For Use booklet that is included and adhere to the precautions regarding the use of The Birth Sling.
• Refunds will not be given if you do not make use of the Birth Sling.
• The hirer agrees to pay $50.00AUD which includes 4 weeks of hire.
• The hirer agrees to pay $10.00AUD for every additional week and $2.00AUD for every additional day the hirer has The Birth Sling.
• The Hirer agrees to return The Birth Sling to The Birth Teacher in the same condition it was received or a damage/cleaning fee of $50.00AUD will apply.
• The Hirer agrees to ensure The Birth Sling is returned absent of any bodily fluids or a
damage/cleaning fee of $50.00AUD will apply.
• The Birth Teacher reserves the right to charge the replacement value ($208.00AUD) of lost, stolen or damaged Birth Sling or parts of the Birth Sling.
• Local drop-off and pick-up to Emerald is included in the hire. If the Birth Sling is hired outside of Emerald, then the hirer agrees to pay for return postage.
• It is understood that Maxine Kirby of The Birth Teacher will be released from all liability arising from or relating to the use of the Birth Sling for any undesirable or unexpected outcomes.
• By signing the Hire Agreement Form, you are confirming that both you, the hirer, and The Birth Teacher understand and agree to the terms and conditions stated above.
